Sylvia Lomas entered into this world on February 7, 1949 and on her birthday, February 7, 2021, she took her last Earthly breath and entered into the gates of Heaven.
Sylvia’s family was the center of her world and she will be sorely missed. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Miguel and Eloisa (Benavides) Lomas, and three brothers, Roberto, Ricardo and Rogelio Lomas.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her longtime partner, Robert Martinez; her son, John (Alaina) Lomas; her daughter, Trinity (Jeff) McCormick, four granddaughters, Isabella, Gabriella, Madigan and Leila; her two sisters, Rose Murley and Yolanda (Amador) Alba; her brother Arturo (Linda) Lomas as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory (1801 S. Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543).
She will be laid to rest in a private burial at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
For the safety of Sylvia’s loved ones, we will be following COVID protocols set forth by the funeral home by requiring social distancing, masks and limiting the number of people allowed in the building at the same time.
