<p><p>Funeral Services for Mrs. Alyne Ledbetter Colson, age 88, of Columbus Georgia, and formerly of the Willow Grove Community will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Jon Ledbetter will officiate. Burial to follow in the St. John Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday morning from 11 a.m. until time of services.</p> <p>Mrs. Colson passed from this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Columbus, GA. She was born March 7, 1932, in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Maggie Thrasher Ledbetter. Alyne was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with each one of them.</p> <p>Alyne leaves behind her sons, Jack Colson and wife Diane of Pine Mountain, GA, Charles Colson and wife Tracy of Weddington, NC, and Dennis Colson and wife Amanda of Easley, SC.; daughter, Cynthia Colson of Columbus, GA; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Alyne was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy Charles Colson; son, Jerry K. Colson; daughter-in-law, Mary Colson; brothers, Eddie Carlie Ledbetter, and Benny Ray Ledbetter; sisters, Claudine Sells, Bessie Sells, Ruth Capps, Willene Brown, Melba McGinnis, Reba Claborn, and Geneva Collins.</p> </p>
