<p>Visitation Details Friday, January 9th, 2015 3:00pm - 7:00pm, Dracut Funeral Home Saturday, January 10th, 2015 10:00am, St. Vartanantz Armenian Church Interment Details Edson Cemetery LOWELL, MA- Richard "Muggy" Juknavorian, 87, died suddenly, Monday, January 5, 2015, at Tufts Medical Center, with his family by his side. He was married to his beloved wife, Virginia, for 67 years. Richard was born in Lowell, MA on February 28, 1927, a son of the late Altoon (Tarzian) and Giragos Juknavorian. Richard served his country during WWII as part of the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged. Muggy was a longtime and devoted member of St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, where he served as a Trustee. He was also an Exalted Ruler of the Lowell Lodge of Elks and a member of the Armenian American Veterans of Lowell. Richard loved to travel with his wife, especially to Las Vegas and Florida. He also loved vacationing at the beach with his extended family. His favorite times were spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and having large dinners with family and friends. Along with his wife, Virginia, Richard is survived and will be deeply missed by his 2 sons, Richard A. Juknavorian and his wife Janice of Methuen, and David G. Juknavorian of Lowell; grandchildren, Richard Juknavorian Jr. and his wife Susan and Julie Gaudioso and her husband John, and 2 great-granddaughters, Abigail and Serafina. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 3-7 p.m. on FRIDAY, January 9th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. His funeral will take place on SATURDAY from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. with his Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Chelmsford. Burial in Edson Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church 180 Old Westford Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
