Gladys Nelson Gill, 98, of Gillburg Rd., died October 26, 2020 in Whitsett, NC. She was born in Granville County to Lessie Green Nelson and James Nelson.  A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Friday in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's AME Zion Church Cemetery in Kittrell. Survivors include her children: Cornelius Gill, Jr., Victor Gill, Petronia Gill-Johnson, Joseph Gill and Joyce Umrani; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two brothers: Dewitt Nelson and Alford Toler. Viewing will be from noon to 5 pm, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are by Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
