<p>Lonnie C. McFarland, age 67, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Farwell. He was born April 16, 1953 in Pierre, South Dakota to John and Bobbie (Christian) McFarland. He married Yalonda Martin in Oklahoma Lane, Texas on July 11, 1981. </p><p><br></p><p>Lonnie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents.</p><p><br></p><p>Lonnie is survived by his wife, Yalonda; his three sons, Lane McFarland and his wife, Amanda of Miles, Texas, Lonnie R. McFarland and his wife, Salida of Farwell, Texas and Logan McFarland and his wife, Sabra of Bushland, Texas; his two sisters, Leslee Redwine of Lazbudie, Texas and Claire Brown and her husband, Scott of Muleshoe, Texas; his three brothers, Kirk McFarland of Odessa, Texas, Mack McFarland of Crane, Texas and Rusty McFarland and his wife, Julie of Friendswood, Texas; and his ten grandchildren, Eric, Austin, Kenzie, Kylie, Braelyn, Alli, Sawyer, Raef, Renner and Bristyn </p><p><br></p><p>The family suggests memorials be sent to the New Mexico Children’s Home, 1356 NM 236, Portales, New Mexico, 88130.</p>April 16, 1953 - October 8, 202004/16/195310/08/2020
