George H. Fry, Jr. age 75, of Horsham, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Abington Hospital alongside family members. George is survived by his wife Judy of 38 years, his children Lisa, Midge (Tony), Billy, Judy (Bill), Guy (Karen) and Jill (Steve), his brothers Bruce and David (Cindy), 21 loving grandchildren and many great grandchildren. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. George loved sports, especially football, where his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. George also loved caring for his grandchildren, spending time outside landscaping and gardening as well as enjoying summer family vacations together at the beach. Even though George was retired,he liked getting out of the house and continued to work part -time as a Security Officer at The Academy of the New Church/Bryn Athyn College Department of Public Safety. George was always there to help friends and relatives with whatever needed and always reliable. A special thank you to the healthcare workers at Abington Hospital for their loving care and support during George’s final days. Due to the guidelines issued by the Federal Government regarding public gatherings due to the Coronavirus pandemic, his service and interment will be privately held graveside in Resurrection Cemetery. His family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. More Information will follow. Please continue to check website for updated information.
