Jeffrey Allen Hawkins of Richmond Township was reunited in Heaven with his father, Charles after passing away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 42 years. Jeff was born on August 29, 1977 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was a son of Charles and Lydie (nee Van Paemel) Hawkins. On August 24, 2013, he married Amy Bahnke at George George Park in Clinton Township. Jeff was an automotive mechanic and loved tinkering on his own toy trucks at home. He was a farm boy at heart and amazing family man. Jeff was an avid hunter and a handyman. Visiting and working on the family cabin up north was one of his favorite pastimes. Jeff will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Jeff is survived by his wife Amy; children, Gabrielle Hawkins, Cayden John Myrick, Alexandra Hawkins and Jacob Charles Hawkins; mother, Lydie Hawkins; siblings, Aaron (Leah) Hawkins and Loran Hawkins; maternal grandparents, Irené and Antoinette Van Paemel; nieces and nephews, Justin, Ella, Aidan, Alaina; parents-in-law, Dennis and Mariann Bahnke; brother-in-law, Steven Bahnke; and uncles, Ron Van Paemel and Andrew (Jackie) Van Paemel. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Charles Hawkins. Visitation for Jeff will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, Modetz Chapel, 73919 Fulton, Armada. Due to the heightened risk of COVID-19, the funeral Mass at St. Augustine will be private for family. Internment will take place at immediately following the funeral service at Richards Cemetery in Richmond Township.
