<p>Frances L. Anderson, 93, of Independence, Iowa died Saturday evening, April 2, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa </p><p><br></p><p>Frances was born on October 10, 1917, near Brandon, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Sullivan) Schultz. She graduated from the Brandon High School, and on January 6, 1944 she was married to Donald L. Anderson. The couple made their home in Independence where she and her husband owned and operated the Anderson Plumbing Company. </p><p><br></p><p>Frances is survived by five children; Mary (Bob) Black, Morrison, IL., Bill Anderson, Salix, IA, Richard (Sheri) Anderson, , Jim (Linda) Anderson, and Chris (Paula) Anderson all of Independence, IA., 12 grandchildren and 10 great Grandchildren, one sister; Rosemary Kissling, Oregon, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1984, one sister; Betty Wilson, and three brothers; Leonard, Wallace, and Robert Schultz. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, IA., with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M.
