<p>Maria Rose (DeGregorio) LaPointe, 47, of New Hartford, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Bloomfield. She was born September 3, 1960 in Bronx, NY daughter of the late Constantino and Edith (Knowles) DeGregorio and had lived in Canton prior to moving to New Hartford five years ago. Mrs. LaPointe was a Licensed Insurance Agent at E Benefits Group in Unionville for 12 years. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Esther LaPointe and Steven and Stephanie LaPointe, all of Canton; a daughter and son-in-law, Jillian and Chana Henrique de Farias of Winsted; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbe and John Bayerowski of New Hartford; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Tae DeGregorio of Bloomfield, Ralph and Barbara DeGregorio of Canton and Ronald and Jackie DeGregorio of East Granby; three grandchildren, Shane, Olivia and Dominic; several nieces and nephews; a loving partner, Todd Newman and many friends that felt like family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Saint Francis, especially Joerg Rathmann, M.D. and Deborah Konopka, R.N. for their care and support. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, Monday, June 23, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Graveside service and burial will be Tuesday, June 24, 1:00 p.m. in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Avon.
