<p>Mrs. Susan Shyiak, age 59 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday October 20, 2005.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Ripley, Surrey, England, she was raised in Potage La Prairie and moved to Port Arthur in 1965 with her husband Jerry. She had many interests, but her life centered around her family. </p><p><br></p><p>Survived by her husband Jerry at home, daughters Tracey (Steve), Dayna, son Brock (Kathy); four grandchildren Alexis, Chloe, Madison and Mason; sisters Linda (Dave), Pat (Dave), Gloria (Doug), Dianne (Eldon), brother Terry (Shannon), cousins and other relatives also survive. </p><p><br></p><p>Predeceased by her parents Winnifred and Gerald, brother Randy and sister Sheila. She will be sadly missed by her family. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services for the late Mrs. Susan Shyiak will be held on Monday October 24, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma, officiated by Rev. Harold Hunt. Services will be complete in the chapel with cremation to follow. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time in the Everest Chapel.
