<p> Frances J. Lebeckis, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family.</p><p> Born in Kenosha on May 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie (Behling) Dorfmeister. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.</p><p> On October 13, 1945, she married Anton Lebeckis at St. Peter’s Rectory. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1989.</p><p> Frances was employed as a records secretary with the Kenosha Unified Schools System, first with Bradford High School and retired from Tremper High School. She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church and also volunteered at Kenosha Memorial Hospital. Frances was a former member of the Kenosha Yacht Club and enjoyed boating, crocheting, knitting, doing crossword puzzles, and playing dominos. She will be remembered as an excellent cook.</p><p> Survivors include her son, Thomas (Paula) Lebeckis of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Susan (Craig) Alleman, Greg Lebeckis, and Ashley (Rich) Lindstrom; and one great-grandchild, Jaxon Thomas Lindstrom.</p><p> Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20th, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
