Miriam Jane Moores Passed peacefully away on November 24th, 2018 after a short illness, Miriam (Mamie) Moores, age 98 formerly of Broad Cove, Conception Bay North but as of late a resident of Karwood Retirement Retreat, Paradise. Predeceased by her husband Roy and her brothers: Matthew and Spurgeon. Leaving to mourn, her son Gerald (Mary); her grandchildren: Wendy (Paul) Parsons, Kimberley (Gary) Smith, Wayne (Michelle) Moores, Krista (Jermay) Meehan, her step-grandchildren: Heather (Grant) Leckie and Clesson Monk; eleven great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; three nieces, three nephews and a large circle of friends. Cremation has already taken place. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, November 25th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s chapel on Monday, November 26th at 11am. Interment to follow at 2pm in Blackhead United Church Cemetery.
