Juhan Wang Obituary

Wang, Juhan

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Her Legacy… Juhan Wang, 23, passed away June 13, 2021.  She was born on June 24, 1997, in Baotou, China, to Hongguang Wang and Wanzhen Yan.  She will be remembered as a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She was a very kind person, a diligent student. She always set high and strict standards to herself, but had spacious leniency to others. She always hid her negative emotions and fears, delivered bright, warm, and passionate energy to others. She is an angel. She is the shiniest little star in the galaxy. She was the best daughter, the best sister, the best granddaughter in the world. Juhan had received 4 degrees, naval engineering bachelor’s degree, economy bachelor’s degree, Robotics master’s degree, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering master’s degree. She is an assiduous, self-disciplined student. Other students always saw her study late into the night, even on rainy days. In the peek days of COVID-19, he completed all courses with 4.0 GPA. She was granted the national excellent undergraduate student and was a stellar student at the University of Michigan. She did research in robotics and aerospace field. Her mentors and lab mates spoke highly of her kindness, brilliance, sharpness, and positive attitude.

Juhan lived an austere life. She was a strict vegetarian and pious Buddhist. She had simple food prepared by herself. She never splurged money and even saved for her own laptop. Juhan did yoga every day and did it excellently. She was introspective and wrote plans every day. She loved life and lived a healthy life. She was very cautious and wore her helmet every time she rode her bicycle or scooter. She took fully responsibility for her life. She would never let her family worry about her health and safety.

Juhan was a pure, positive and kind soul, had an infectious smile, bright expressive eyes, and an easygoing and friendly personality. She will go to the beautiful pure land without study workload, pressure and depression, fear and worries. She really loved traveling, now she finally has time to visit as many wonderful places as she likes and be at rest. Juhan will be deeply missed and will always be loved and respected. We will always be proud of her and she will stay in our hearts forever.
