Jane Ingram Carnes, 63, resident of Hill & Dale, wife of Rex Carnes, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born April 1, 1956 in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Lucy McNair Ingram and John H. Ingram. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and the University of South Carolina School of Pharmacy and was an avid Gamecock fan. Jane started her career at Self Memorial Hospital Pharmacy and served the Greenwood area for more than 40 years. She was a member of South Main Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Jaime Hughes of Latta; one son, Erick Hughes and wife Becca of Greenwood; brother, David Ingram of Greenwood; sister, Suzanne Hodges of Hodges; and grandchildren, Alexys Hughes, Ronnie Hughes and Summer Yonce. Memorial services will be held 6PM Thursday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Evans officiating. The family is at the home in Hill & Dale and will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W.
