Ronald Henry Von Thun, 49, of Monmouth Junction passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. Ronald was born in New Brunswick and was a resident of Monmouth Junction. He liked to help people more than he helped himself. Ronald worked in the Landscape Construction Field. Ron enjoyed meeting and talking with local residents about news, politics and weather. He enjoyed watching all sports and being outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by his parents Robert Charles Sr. and Sylvia (Pitcock) Von Thun; his brother and sister-in-law Robert Charles Jr. and Cindy Von Thun; his sister and brother-in-law Dorie and Greg Knott; and his three nieces and two nephews Tim and his wife Emma, Kristie, Kellie, Breanna, and Brian. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
