Ben Rowland

Ben Rowland, 81, of Eddyville, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa. A life-long resident of Western Kentucky, Ben retired from Vulcan Materials as a construction supervisor. With the exception of his family, Ben loved nothing more than enjoying the beauty of Kentucky and Barkley lakes in his boat. Ben is survived by his life partner Toni Lee Smith of Eddyville; son, Marc Rowland and wife Ruth Ann of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren Will Rowland and wife Sarah, and Drew Rowland; sisters Brenda Ladd and Judy Russell of Princeton, Doris Thompson of Louisville, and Betty Stroube of Bowling Green, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Violet Brown Rowland; sisters Gloria Wadlington and Phyllis Bright; brothers Bill Rowland, Joe Rowland, and Larry Rowland; and two grandsons Patrick Rowland and Matthew Rowland. Visitation will be Friday December 20, 2019 at Morgan's Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held Friday December 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. J.
