Ella Mae Rasmussen, 73, was born in Escambia County, Florida, made her final journey home on Friday, December 13, 2019. She passed peacefully at home, in her sleep with her beloved husband Michael Rasmussen by her side. She lived most of her life in Pensacola, although military travels took her and the family to Kansas, Colorado, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Ella is survived in death by her Husband, Michael Rasmussen, her children Michael Rasmussen and his wife Michelle Rasmussen, Bridgett Potter and her husband Don Potter; her Grandson, Joshua Rasmussen and his wife Josephine Rasmussen; her brother Floyd and his wife Jeanette Kokoska, her sister Francis and her husband Wayne Harris. She was SASSY at heart, fun-loving, strong-willed, loved to make everyone laugh and much loved by all that met her. She will be greatly missed! Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Visitation will begin at 10:30am prior to services. Following services, you are invited to join in procession as Ella makes her way to her final resting place on Pensacola Naval Air Station, and to take part in her Grave-side farewell.
