Thomas Lewis Johnson, 86, of Athens, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. He was born on May 7, 1933 in Columbia Crossroads, PA, the son of the late Lewis and Helen (Bielawski) Johnson. Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and bowling. Thomas also enjoyed traveling south for the winter. He is predeceased by his siblings; Marie Johnson and Robert Johnson, and step-siblings; Joseph, Leon, Billy, George, Niamo, Tess, Marion, and Dorothy. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years; Marianne (Linder) Johnson, children; Sandra and Joseph Wolf, Steven Johnson and Christine Millhouse, and Danial and Teressa Johnson, grandchildren; Nicole and Kevin, Heather, Seve, Joshua, Trevor, and Sydnie, great-granddaughter; Cora, sister; Mable Kane, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Thomas' memory to a local animal shelter of your choice.
