William K. “Bill” Groninger, 91 years of age, of Carlisle died on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Chapel Pointe of Carlisle with his loving family by his side. He was born in Mexico, PA on November 26, 1928 to the late Edgar D. and Ella Kauffman Groninger. Bill retired as a Draftsman having worked for several of the local engineering companies. He was a 40 yr. member of Camp Hill Alliance Church where he served as a Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, and in many other capacities. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 yrs. Helen “Phyllis” Davis Groninger of Carlisle, son; Mark D. (Beth) Groninger of Carlisle, a daughter; Alisa E. (Mark) Eramo of Enola, six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Henry Chapel at Chapel Pointe of Carlisle, 770 S. Hanover St. Carlisle, PA 17013. Officiating will be Chaplain Steve P. Motter. Burial will be private in the Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial’s in Bill’s name made be made to the Benevolent Fund at Chapel Pointe. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle, Rd.
