Catherine M. 'Cassie' Fulton

Catherine M. “Cassie” (Browne) Fulton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, surrounded by her family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 78. Mrs. Fulton worked for over 20 years as a Materials Acceptance Technician in the Quality Control Department of the former GE Company in King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, and sang in the church choir. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School. Cassie volunteered for the Hillary Clinton Campaign. She was a Phillies fan, enjoyed playing the piano and was known for her singing voice. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Everyone she met was touched by her kindness and compassion. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 29, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Heaney) Browne. She was the wife of the late William A. Fulton, who died in 1980. Surviving is her loving family including a son, William A. (Lin) Fulton, Jr. of Bridgeport, PA; three daughters: Karen (Peter) Bloodgood of Exton, PA, Helene (Mark) Dalton of Downingtown, PA and Joan (Matthew) Bickerdyke of King of Prussia, PA; seven grandchildren: Daniel & Kayla Bloodgood, Matthew, Emily & Ryan Bickerdyke, Courtney & Andrew Dalton; four step-grandchildren: Colin, Michaela, Sarah & Seth; a sister, Theresa (Dr. Richard-deceased) Beison of Ann Arbor, MI; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by six brothers: Joseph, John, James, Edward, Dennis & Thomas Browne; and two sisters, Margaret Murphy & Cecilia Browne. Catherine’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives & friends on Saturday from 10 to 11:00 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cassie’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422. www.cancer.org Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
