Vicki Claudia Thompson Edmonds, Washington Obituary

Vicki Claudia Thompson

Vicki Claudia Thompson, 78, passed away December 9, 2019 in Edmonds, WA. Vicki was born November 8, 1941 to James and Doris Mull in Portland, OR. She grew up she lived in Oregon, Florida and California. Vicki attended the University of Washington to study art history and graduated proudly with honors. At the age of 50 life events forced her to start over and with her strengths she was able to work her way up to being the top manager at Washington Mutual Canyon Park. It was during this time she met her current husband Milton. It was love at first sight and new life adventures together began. She traveled to many countries and loved going on even the smallest of adventures. Along with her adventures she was also an accomplished knitter, hiker, and bowler. Above all, Vicki loved her family. She loved to take care of her family and bringing the whole family together for family reunions. She was a loving mother, daughter, and wife who gave everyone the best advice and even better nicknames. She was the family leader and always told everyone to be true to themselves and to always “push yourself to be the best you could be.” We will think about her every time there is a road trip and every year at the family’s annual barbecue. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Milton; her daughter, Becky and her sons, Nik, Chuck, Mike and Dean. Vicki was brave as she fought her battle with breast cancer and she eventually won. She struggled with Alzheimer’s for years but she remained positive and independent. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Maria L. Alzheimer’s Association.
