Funeral services for Clarence Roger Fulghum, Jr., age 73 will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Fred Reese will officiate. Mr. Fulghum was born August 27, 1946 in Lakeland, FL. He was the son of the late Clarence Roger Fulghum, Sr. and Ola Mae Walden Fulghum. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carole Jean Brown Fulghum, and by his son, Mark Roger Fulghum. He was retired from the I.T. Department at Mohawk Carpet Company. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. Mr. Fulghum passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Fulghum is survived by his 2 sons, Byron (Tammy) Fulghum of East Dublin, and Sean (Michelle) Fulghum of Wrightsville, 2 daughters, Crystal (Douglas) Johnson of East Dublin, and Suzanne (Daniel) Copas of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, Christin Price, Justin Hall, Ben Fulghum, Tiffany Farthing, Austin Fulghum, and Hannah Fulghum, and 7 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dale Fulghum, Mitchell Fulghum, Jason Fulghum, Austin Fulghum, Jason Price, and Robbie Graham. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2019 at the funeral home. The family will be meeting at the residence of Judy Thigpen at 650 Fulghum Road, East Dublin, Georgia 31027. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
