Al L Roshto

Funeral services for Al Roshto will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Tim Hisaw officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens. The family requests visitation be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and continued Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Brothers, Pineville. Mr. Roshto, 77, of Pineville went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, December 9, 2019 at his residence. A faithful servant he served his Lord at Tioga First Baptist Church as a deacon. During his working career he taught at Bolton High School for 33 years and at Tioga High School for 2 years. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kelly Lois Roshto; mother, Edwina Little Boudreaux; father, Richard Roshto; sister, Patsy Navarre; brothers, Tom Arnaud Roshto and Richard “Dickie” Roshto. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-five and a half years, Melba Estes Roshto; son, Buck Roshto and his wife, Kim; daughter, Susan Strother; grandsons, Neill Roshto and Nolan Roshto; many other family members and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Staff at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care and compassion.
