Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Renella L. Patin, 81, who passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Sherry LeBlanc. Gift bearers will be Kevin Soignier, Chris Soignier, Taylor Patin, and Logan Patin. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Renella was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie P. Soignier (Jimmy); son, Brian Patin (Mona); sisters, Anna Daspit (Jimmy), and JoAnn Latiolais (Greg); sisters-in-law, Elaine P. Stutes, Sherry LeBlanc and Jane Guidry LeBlanc; brother-in-law, Charles Patin; grandchildren, Kevin Soignier (Lisa), Chris Soignier (Tennille), Logan Patin (Celeste), and Taylor Patin; great grandchildren, Ryder Patin, Ian Soignier, Hadley Soignier, and Ryan Soignier; step great-grandchildren, Anna-Leigh Zeiters, Brylan Hamlett, Gage Hamlett, and Laike Champagne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Patin; son, Danny Patin; father, Samson LeBlanc; mother, Mabel Gravouia LeBlanc; and brothers, Donald and James LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Brian Patin, Kevin Soignier, Chris Soignier, Logan Patin, Ian Soignier, Jimmy Soignier, and Toby Daspit.
