Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, & Great-Grandmother Marlene (Restaino) Johnson, age 77 of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Gerard and Antoinette (Nicolette) Restaino, Marlene lived in Belleville for 43 years before moving to Little Falls and Barnegat, prito moving to Cape Coral, Florida 14 years ago. She worked for ADP of Clifton most of her career and volunteered her time at St. Mary’s Church in Barnegat, St. Andrew’s Church in Cape Coral, Wink News in Cape Coral, and Cape Coral Hospital. Marlene is survived by her devoted husband, Stuart Johnson; her beloved children, Thomas Resciniti, and his wife Lisa, Vincent Resciniti, Debra Sylvestro and her husband, Steve, and Dawn Simone; her step children, Edward and his wife Caroline, Raymond and Manuella; 2 nephews, Charles and Gregory Restaino; 19 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren . Along with her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her son Joseph James Resciniti and her brother Patrick Restaino. The funeral will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 8:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley. The Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30am. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org/donate, would be preferred.
