Stanley Wyszynski

Stanley Wyszynski, 72, of New Britain, died on Friday, December 6, 2019. He was born in Poland to the late Hieronim and Wladyslawa Wyszynski and moved to the U.S. in 1973 with his wife, Teresa. Stanley worked as a machine operator for Reno Machine Company in Newington for many years. He enjoyed playing cards and woodworking and was a general handyman around the house. He could often be found at Walnut Hill Park, walking with his wife and children enjoying nature. Stanley was a devoted parishioner and usher of Sacred Heart Church and traveled with church groups to the Holy Land. He was proud of his Polish heritage and was a member of General Haller Post 111. His willingness to dedicate his time and help others will always be remembered. Above all else, Stanley was a devoted husband, father and dziadzi. He is survived by Teresa (Kropiewnicka) Wyszynski, his beloved wife of 46 years; his children: Katherine Grattage and husband Ken, Thomas Wyszynski and wife Angelique, and Elizabeth Ruck and husband Jonathan; his adored grandchildren: Nicholas, Olivia, Anna, Lucas, Natalia and Alexander; his brother Kazimierz Wyszynski and wife Lucyna in Poland and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jozef Wyszynski and his sister, Irena Zaleska. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. There will be a brief visitation at Burritt Hill on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
