Maass, Joan M. was born on December 7, 1932 in Ecorse Michigan to the parents of Charles and Mabel Heide. Joan married Max Maass on November 23, 1953 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ecorse, Michigan at the age of 20. Joan worked in the banking industry as a currency sorter and retired at the age of 61. Joan passed on December 7, 2019 at the age 87 in Riverview, Michigan. Joan is survived by her loving children Mark Maass and Heidi (Rory) Haven. Dear sister of Rich Heide and Helen Hodge. Dearest grandmother of Melissa, Colleen, and Ashley. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mabel Heide. Joan will be deeply missed by family and friends.
