Wilma Alice (Irish) Ewing Lansing, MI Wilma Alice (Irish) Ewing, age 86, of Lansing, Michigan joined her Lord and Savior on December 7, 2019. Born July 7, 1933 in Belding, Michigan to parents Minnie and Ted Irish, Wilma attended Central Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Teaching. Wink, as she was known by most, had a great love for music - especially classical. She also enjoyed traveling, sitting in the sun, playing cards with family and friends, and collecting rabbit figurines from all over the world. Wilma married Larry Ewing in 1955 and the two raised three daughters. Surviving Wilma are her husband Larry; twin brother William Irish; daughters Anita (and Dave) Tucker, Jennifer (and Tim) Goldsworthy, and Nancy (and Phil) Henderson; grandsons Benjamin Goldsworthy, Matthew Goldsworthy (and wife Sara), Ian Henderson, and Joshua Ewing Henderson (and wife Claire); great-grandson Steven James Goldsworthy; and several dear nieces and nephews. Wink was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Irish; and sister, Joyce (Irish) Barker. Visitation for Wilma will be 5-7 PM Thursday, December 12, 2019 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 1519 Elmwood Rd., Lansing, with 11 AM Memorial service December 13, 2019 at the church followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, Wilma has asked for donations to the St. David’s Episcopal Church musical fund to be given to honor her life and passion for music.
