THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF ROGER J. BOISVERT Dedicated to his family and his faith WATERBURY – Roger Boisvert, age 73 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2019 with his family by his side at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St Marys Hospital after a brief illness. Roger was born on January 21, 1946 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Henri Paul and Dora (Richard) Boisvert. He was educated in local schools, St Ann Grammar School and Croft High School and proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Flight Engineer and Air Crew Member of the C-54 and T-29 aircraft based in Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. He began his career in the HVAC trade and owned and operated his own business, B & H Oil Co.with his longtime business partner, Vincent Horgan.for many years. He also taught HVAC at both Waterbury Adult Ed and Kaynor Tech and served as a Building and Plumbing Inspector for the Town of Middlebury. For the past 18 years he was affiliated as a Funeral Assistant with Casey’s Eastside Memorial and O’Neill Funeral Homes. Roger was a man of very deep, profound and unshakeable faith. A daily communicant of St Francis Xavier Church, he was also a member of the Parish Council, a Eucharistic Minister and active in many parish activities. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and special, loyal friend he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.. Left to cherish his memory and honor Roger’s love and legacy are his daughters; Charmaine Boisvert of Wolcott, and Dawn Boisvert of Raleigh NC, his sister, Therese Neri of Bonita Springs FL, his brother, Robert of Meriden CT and his best friend, Michelle Ulinskas. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren; Matthew DeLauri, Khaiden Eldridge and Amanda Feliciano as well as two great granddaughters; Ryleigh and Charleigh Green.and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a score of devoted friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Andre and Gerard Boisvert. . Funeral Services for Mr. Boisvert will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT 06705. To St. Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Roger’s family on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
