Bruce Allen Reed

Bruce Reed, age 72, of Greenfield, passed away on December 6, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 11, 1947, in Indianapolis, In, to the late Wilbur & Juanita (Swain) Reed. Bruce graduated from New Palestine High School in 1966. He spent his career with Lester’s Body Shop as an Autobody Repair man until his retirement in 2015. Bruce enjoyed fishing and NASCAR and would watch the Velocity TV Network for hours. But more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his precious family who he loved dearly. Left to cherish Bruce’s memory are his life partner of 38 years, Vicki (Blackford) Farmer; children, Kristy Reed, Scott Farmer, Jamie (Doug) Burns & David Farmer; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Kathy) Reed; sisters, Robyn (Bob) Miller & Debbie Weisenbach. Bruce is proceeded in death by his parents listed above and a brother Carey Reed. Visitation for Bruce will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 12:30 at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. I was lucky enough to work with Bruce at Russ Dellen years ago . I would see him later and he always took the time to talk . A great and very funny guy , am glad to have known him. Rest well , `ol buddy . Stan Rash

I remember Bruce from years ago. He always talked like Donald duck to my oldest son. My son sure got a kick out of it. Thoughts and prayers for the family at this time.
