Mrs. Annie Mae Mitchell was born May 11, 1926 in Darlington County, a daughter of the late Dinah Lawson. She received her education in the area and was a member of Lawson Grove Baptist Church. On Monday, January 19,2015 an angel sealed the lips of our dear sister and she transitioned to her resting place. Her loving memories shall forever remain in heart of those that loved her. Surviving to cherish her memories are one daughter Helen Burton; one son, Edward Lawson; four great great grandchildren; three special nieces, Rosa Johnson of Florence, SC, Louise Lighty and Mary Lee Fields both of Brooklyn, NY; one special nephew, Henry Lawson of Bishopville,SC; a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.   Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Lawson Grove Baptist Church. Burial will take place in the church cemetery, directed by Young & Young Funeral Home.
