Obituary

As we the beloved family and friends of our dear brother Tommy Davis gather in this sacred place, we are reminded of life and living. His presence is deeply missed in the atmosphere today and in his circles, but be ye reminded of the many memories shared and his loving spirit that shall forever be embellished within the core of our hearts and minds. Mr. Tommy Davis was born on October 20,1965 in Lee County. He is the son of Cleo Davis Holloman and the late Thomas Holloman. He received his education in the public schools in the area and was employed with Lopez Rebar. He was also a member of Sandy Bluff United Methodist Church. On Saturday, October 31, 2015 the earhty journey of our dear brother made a transition to the eternal realm. Turmoil's of this world are nonexistent now for our dear brother for he is comfortable resting upon the bosom of the Most High. Those left to relic his memories other than his mother, Cleo Davis Holloman are five sisters, Betty Foman, Carolyn Davis, Thomasena Davis, Syvia (Robert) Davis-Mixon and Janell Davis; three brothers, LeVon Kenly, Clyde Davis and Eric Holloman; one aunt, Linda Thomas; three uncles, Odell Thomas, Nathaniel Thomas and Leroy Thomas; eight nieces, seven nephews, a special friend Gwen Price; a host of grand nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Holloman, one sister, Frances Davis and one brother, Nathaniel Huggins.  Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Sandy Bluff United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in the church cemetery, directed by Young & Young Funeral Home of Hartsville.
