Wanda Ruth Moore, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at a Houlton hospital. She was born January 2, 1954, in Houlton, the daughter of Hazen and Irene (Weed) Kneeland. Wanda graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1972 and in 1982 she completed the CNA course through SAVE. Wanda worked at various nursing homes and home care in the Presque Isle and Houlton areas. She also was employed by the Community Living Association and many potato growers throughout the years. Wanda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and plastic canvas. She will be remembered as a special person with many friends. She is survived by a son Wade Whittaker and his wife Tina of Masardis, and a granddaughter Justice Whittaker of Warren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a daughter Michelle Belyea, three brothers: Dana, Wayne, Richard, and a sister Linda. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Littleton Cemetery.
