Richard William Stephens, 81, of Parkersburg passed away December 2, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born on May 31, 1938 the son of the late Carl R. and Lula B. Leach Stephens. Richard served in the US Army as a radio repairman from 1957 to 1963. He retired from DuPont Washington Works after twenty-five years working in the lab. Richard is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Delores Clegg Stephens, daughter Cindy Vincent (Brian) of Belpre, brother Ervin Stephens (Nina), sisters Mary Lou Sams (Gary), Wanda Wiseman, all of Parkersburg and eight nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael Stephens. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
