Margaret Helen Roddy Bryson, 84, of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 2, 2019. She was born on August 18, 1935. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Cleveland. Margaret retired from Bowaters in 1990. She loved flowers and gardening and was a “World Traveler.” She loved traveling out West in the Summer, especially to Jackson Hole, and being a gracious host to everyone that came to their farm. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially making gingerbread houses with them around the holidays. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Helen Roddy and brother, Pete Roddy. Survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph Bryson; daughters, Donna (Benny) Kirksey, Dianne (Richard) King and Debbie (David) Ingram; siblings, Bill Roddy, Joan (Fred) Hall; grandchildren, Bryce (Kate) Kirksey, Jessica (Luke) Hamilton, Brett (Cana) Kirksey, Morgan King, Annelise King and Alexandra Ingram; great grandchildren, Sage and Miles Kirksey, Asher Hamilton, Adi Beth and Colter Kirksey. Special thanks to Brookdale staff, Tennova MICU and Debbie Pinela, caregiver. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Camp Cherokee. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday December 5, 2019 at First Baptist Church Cleveland located at 1275 Stuart Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday December 6, 2019 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
