R. Scott Robison Tekamah, Nebraska Obituary

R. Scott Robison

Rodney Scott Robison went to be with his Savior unexpectedly on December 1, 2019, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 55. Scott was born in Tecumseh, Nebraska, on November 12, 1964. He spent countless hours working on the family farm that he loved in Elk Creek while growing up in Pawnee City. His love of farming continued as he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1987. Farming remained a central occupation throughout Scott’s life. He raised cattle while employed as a farm loan manager in the USDA Farm Service Agency and, later, as a loan officer at First National Bank of Johnson. After his father’s death, Scott continued to manage the family farm. On January 14, 2013, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Susie. He moved to Tekamah, Nebraska and together they continued to build and grow their businesses. Despite losing his eyesight and other health struggles, every day was an adventure that they enjoyed together. Scott’s gift for nurturing growth extended to the people in his life as well. He was a man of deep faith, compassion, and generosity. Scott had an open heart and a knack for making others laugh and feel valued. He was always supportive and loved building others up and encouraging them. He will be greatly missed by the many whose lives he touched in large and small ways. He was preceded in death by father, Rodney Robison of Pawnee City and grandparents, Thomas and Ida (Gottula) Robison and Paul and Zona (Hawkins) Rathbun, all of Tecumseh. Survivors include: mother, Donna (Rathbun) Robison of Pawnee City; wife, Susie Robison of Tekamah; sons Micah Wissmann of Hastings and Caleb Wissmann of Omaha; daughter Nicole and husband Samuel Lyon and their children of Lincoln; sisters Pamela and husband Walter Williams of Columbus and their children and Traci Robison and husband James Sullivan of Lincoln; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews as well as so many lives that he has touched in unforgettable ways. He was well-loved and will be deeply missed.
