She enjoyed knitting scarfs, rebating, playing Sudoku, Scrabble and solving many crossword and jigsaw puzzles over the years. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and loved taking care of her grandchildren, watching UConn Women’s basketball and Red Sox baseball on TV with her husband. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, December 4, from 6 to 8 pm at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton, CT. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 5, 11:30 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 224 Lovely Street, Avon, CT with Associate Pastor Brian Rajcok officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Avon, CT 06001. Spread your wings and fly my angel, your life has touched us all. Your wings so very delicate, But your spirit conquers all. You gave us so much joy on earth, But God now reclaims his prize. Spread your wings and fly my angel, Let your wings take to the skies.
