Philomena "Phyllis" Vincenza Robinson Colorado Springs, Colorado Obituary

Philomena "Phyllis" Vincenza Robinson

Philomena "Phyllis" Vincenza Robinson went to meet her Heavenly Father December 2, 2019 at the age of 81.  Phyllis was born to the late Vincent and Domenica (Gianzero) Ciampia in Yonkers, New York on January 30, 1938. She was raised in a strong Italian family, where she learned to be a great wife, mother and grandmother. Phyllis loved to cook and spend time with her family. She lived for everyone and was the most selfless person. Her goal in life was to make her family happy, even when she wasn't feeling well. She never complained about her illnesses and she was the strongest person you could ever meet. A Prayer Warrior was not the word for her; she always prayed for herself and everyone in her family daily. Her prayers were answered so often people would ask her to pray for them. The faith she had in God was astonishing.  Phyllis worked as a night auditor at the Value Inn and Suites for over twenty years. Phyllis is preceded in death by her sons, Stan Ringler and Robert "Bobby" Robinson, who are welcoming her with open arms. She is also preceded by her brother, Jack Ciampia. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Robinson; children, Ann (Mike) Doucette, Joan (Chad) Messina, Paula (Doug) Pratt, Vincent (Lisa) Ringler, and Nicol (Sean) Kelly; grandchildren, Domenica (Jay) Escobar, Mara (Michael) Rogers, Marcie (Steve) Gabara, Tim Doucette, Tony Doucette, Christina (Ben) Johnson, Lindsey (Brandon) Giggey and Anthony "T.J" Pratt; great-grandchildren, Anjelina, Dominic, Jesse, Dani, Skyleigh, Aria, Leland, Braden, Bella, and John; and her great-great-grandson, Gianni. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, cousins, and friends that loved her dearly. I see the countless Christmas trees Around the world below, With tiny lights, like heaven’s stars, Reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, Please, wipe away that tear. For I’m spending Christmas With Stan and Bobby this year. I hear the many Christmas songs, That people hold so dear, But the sounds of music can’t compare, With the Christmas choir up here. For I have no words to tell you, The joy their voices bring. For it is beyond description, To hear all the angels sing. Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Saturday, December 7, 2019, Gethsemane Christian Fellowship, 1628 Babcock Lane, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80915. Reception to follow. Words cannot express how much she will be missed, a part of our hearts were taken on December 2, 2019. A special thank you to Pastor Joel and Carolyn Longberry and the Gethsemane Fellowship for their prayers and loving support. Also, thank you to the nurses and staff at DaVita Dialysis and Penrose St. Francis for always going above and beyond to make Phyllis comfortable.
