Bernice Hines Holman

Bernice Hines Holman, age 82 of Killeen, Texas formerly of Russellville, Kentucky passed away in Texas on Friday, November 22, 2019. She was a Logan County native born December 30, 1936 to the late Casey Hines and Nettie Bell Browder Hines. Bernice accepted Christ at an early age where she attended Marriah Grove Baptist Church and then Luten Rockcastle Baptist Church. She was a housekeeper for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend. She loved sitting on the porch with her sister, Eula, smiling and laughing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Holman, Sr., sons, William, James and Robert Holman, stepson, Oral Meneese, 2 sisters, Eula Wells and Louise McGuire and 2 brothers, Casey and James Hines. She is survived by: 2 Daughters ~ Barbara Wells ~ Russellville, KY Virginia Johnson and husband, Billy ~ Killeen, TX 2 Brothers ~ Wendell Hines and wife, Mattie ~ Adairville, KY Norman Hines and wife, Amy ~ Clarksville, TN 1 Sister ~ Frances Holman ~ Auburn, KY 3 Daughters In Law ~ Teresa Holman ~ Franklin, KY Tabitha Holman ~ Evansville, IN Cherrie Meneese ~ Adairville, KY 12 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services for Bernice Hines Holman will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with burial to follow in Townsend Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm. Pallbearers: Clarence Mason, Brandon Duncan, Leon West, Keith Wells, Jamie Wells, Timmy Hampton Honorary Pallbearers: The Nephews May take food to the KP Hall after 11:00 am on Saturday.
