Deloris Faye Ball Morral, age 76 years, a resident of the Gilman Community, Elkins, WV departed this life Monday evening, December 2, 2019 at the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV surrounded by her loving family. She had been in declining health since September. She was born Monday, August 23, 1943 at Saint George, WV a daughter of the late Gay and Pearl Strawderman Ball. On September 8, 1959 at Oakland, MD she was married to Richard Morral, who preceded her in death August 7, 2015. They had celebrated fifty-five years of marriage. Surviving are one son, Richard Morral Jr. and wife Georgia of Montrose; one daughter, Helen Manolidis and husband Paul of Elkins; three sisters, Sandra Coberly of Beverly, Margaret Williams of Pifer Mountain, Virgie Rosier of St. George; three grandchildren, Jimmy Manolidis of Elkins, Megan and Nicole Morral, both of Montrose; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are one brother, Bobby Glen Ball; and two sisters, Mary Kisamore, and Betty J. Godwin. She attended the schools of Parsons, had worked at Reidboard Brothers and as a homemaker. She was a member of the Orlena United Methodist Church, enjoyed singing at churches and nursing homes, and especially loved her grandchildren and watching them play sports. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 4 to 7 PM, Thursday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11 AM. The Rev. Paul Thompson will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.
