Melody Melba Lambert 89 of Rocklin, CA passed into the hands of our loving God and Savior on Monday December 2, 2019. Melody was born November 18, 1930 in Oklahoma to the late Edgar Walker Knight and Agnes Crist Knight. Melody was preceded in death by one son Rocky Tate and a grand daughter Christi Norton; one sister Billie Louise Terry; two brothers Edgar and Jerry Knight. Melody was an inspirational prayer warrior with credit always given to the Restoration Ministries and Bishop Robert Hooks of Visalia, CA. A true believer in Jesus Christ she is survived by a daughter Sherri Atkins (Allen) of Auburn CA, and a son Stephen Bibey of Wapato, WA; two sisters Reva Fontenot of Lake Charles, LA and Betty Biddle of San Antonio TX; four grandsons Keith Morris (Judy) of Arroyo Grande CA, Joshua Bibey (Melissa) of Wapato, WA, Matthew Bibey (Kim) of Tulare Ca, and Wade Glenn (Brandy) of Red Bluff, CA; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. At Melody’s request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are being made by Lassila Funeral Home in Auburn, CA. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley Veterans Cemetery in Dixon, CA. The family wishes to express their thankfulness to the many friends who were there in a time of need - to the wonderful caregivers with Interim Hospice, the Wolf Creek Care Center; and the Crystal Ridge Care Center, both of Grass Valley, Ca.
