Patricia Elaine Wilkes January 30, 1954- November 22, 2019 Patricia Elaine Wilkes, 65, of Pensacola, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2019. Patricia was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on January 30, 1954 to Jack and Faye Edwards. She has lived in Pensacola for 50 years, was a devout Baptist and member of Hilcrest Baptist Church at Spanish Trail. In her school years, she was a straight “A” student, and achieved a cosmetology degree. Patricia founded two successful daycare centers, as well. She was also a fantastic cook, in which led to her catering business. She enjoyed doing all kinds of craft, especially crafts that benefitted her grandchildren. Her biggest accomplishment was being a mother of four, grandmother of thirteen, and a godly wife. She is preceded in death by her dad- Jack Edwards; mom- Faye Durden Edwards; along with many aunts and uncles. To cherish her memory, she is survived by her husband of 43 years- Tommy Leon Wilkes; sons- David (Heather), Ronnie (Sabra), and Patrick (Lori); daughter- Jackie (Robin) Armstrong; aunt- Mary McFatter; cousin- Debbie Swaboda; along with many, many grandchildren.
