Alexander SCHWEITZER Obituary

Life should be well-lived and enjoyed to the fullest, no matter how short. In just twenty years, ALEXANDER FERRIS exemplified that it’s the simple things in life that mean the most. Born on the opening day of bass season in 1999, Alexander embodied his “Poppa’s” carefree lifestyle and a true love for the great outdoors including fishing and hunting. Alexander will always be with his parents Angela and Jeff Wiggans, his sister Paige Wiggans, stepbrother AJ, Alexander's Heart & Soul also belong to Ray and Sue Ferris. He will be missed by his Uncle Ray (Amie) and Gerald and Laurel Schweitzer. Alexander was so lucky to meet his true love Claire Nicholson. While he loved to hunt and fish he loved his friends, too numerous to mention, so much more, especially his “brother from another mother”, Chayse Chadwick. Alexander epitomized the song lyrics that “It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most, Not where you live, what you drive or the price tag on your clothes, There’s no dollar sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know”. We should all be a little bit more like Alexander Ferris. Relatives and friends are invited to Celebrate Alex's life on Saturday December 14, 2019 from 1-4 pm at the Port Rowan Legion, 12 Centre St., Port Rowan. Those wishing to make a donation in Alexander’s memory are asked to consider East Elgin Secondary School Environmental Leadership Program or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Road, Port Rowan. Personal condolences can be sent at www.gffh.ca
