Patricia Mae Crute

CUSHING – Patricia Mae Crute, 81, passed away, Friday, November 22, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Thomaston, October 8, 1938, she was the daughter of Earle and Helen Miller. Pat, as she liked to be called, attended schools in Thomaston and graduated in 1957 from Thomaston Academy. Soon after graduation she met and married Harvey L. Crute. Pat spent most of her life living in Thomaston until moving to Cushing to be with her daughters in 2007. Pat loved to travel, making many trips up and down the east coast, to Canada and Bermuda. A favorite pastime was going out to eat where a good desert was always involved. She was known as ‘Nannie’ to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the love they had for each other was immeasurable. She will be missed tremendously. Predeceased by her parents and her husband Harvey, Pat is survived by her daughters, Cindy Crute, Heidi (Jim) Tucker all of Cushing; her grandchildren, Joshua, Deven, Kassandra; her great-granddaughters Kyli and Kaelyn; her brother John (Lynn) Miller of Thomaston who held a very special place in her heart; as well as many nieces and nephews. Pat’s family would like to thank the Hospice team, especially Val and Julie. Family and friends are invited to visit from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. Interment at Village Cemetery in Thomaston will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cushing Rescue Squad, c/o Sandra Blanchard, P.O. Box 20, Cushing, ME 04563.
