Myrtle Fletcher Obituary

Myrtle Wood Fletcher (nee Daughtery), age 90, died on November 24, 2019. Raised in Pitman, Myrtle graduated from Pitman High School in 1947. In 2007, she moved to Cape May Court House. Myrtle was an Accounts Payable Supervisor at Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist. She attended the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury and the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in North Wildwood, and was a volunteer at Cape Regional Hospital and Cape May Court House County Clerks Office. She loved going to the beach, camping at the shore and enjoyed the casinos. Predeceased by her husbands, Charles Walter Wood and David Fletcher, and daughter Sandra Miller. She is survived by her children Gary L. Wood, and Cynthia (Jack) Richards. Loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Virginia Givin. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9:30am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Wenonah Cemetery.
