Eloise Ducheneaux, 80, Bismarck, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019, at St. Vincent’s – A Prospera Community, Bismarck. There was no visitation, as burial has taken place, in Black Hills National Cemetery. Eloise was born April 8, 1939, at Fort Yates, ND, to Guy and Mabel (Carrier) Chapman. She was raised and educated in Fort Yates. She married Joe Ducheneaux in 1972. She was very proud to have worked as a Community Health Representative, with Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, for 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Painte and Rebecca Grey Bear; son, Dennis (Diane) Painte; ten grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Joe and her parents.
