Ronald Gray

RONALD EARL GRAY February 17, 1929 — November 22, 2019 Born in Boston, Mass, Ronald moved with his parents to South Ohio at the age of 7. He worked at Yarmouth Dairy for 16 years as a carpenter. Later he started his own company, GrayMac Construction Company. He was President and Manager until he retired at the age of 62. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed making things with wood and gave many things to his family and friends. After he retired, he and his wife spent much time travelling with their trailer and saw much of North America, as well as many trips to the Caribbean. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carol (Crosby) Gray, his children Betty (Ron) Cox, Ronna (Gerald) Hand, Gordon (Sharon) Gray, Barbara (Charles) Outhouse, Ruth (Kencel) Milton and Robert (Meladee) Gray ; 17 grandchildren ; 16 great grandchildren and his sister Helen (Earl) Poole. He was predeceased by his parents Earl and Mary (Westhaver) Gray. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium at 567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 25,2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Larry Pennell officiating. Interment to take place in the Lake George Cemetery. Family flowers only... Any donations can be made to the Lake George Cemetery Fund, the Canadian Lung Association of Nova Scotia or to the Gilles Boudreau & Friends Cancer Help Fund.
