George F. Geiger

George F. Geiger, 90, of Clark, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 21, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark, on Monday, November 25 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. The Funeral begins at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8:45 am, thence to St. Agnes Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:45 am. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. To offer condolences please visit www.walterjohnsonfh.com Mr. Geiger was born in Newark to Herman and Mary (Lee) Geiger. He proudly served his country in the Navy as a Seabee. He was a resident of Clark for 57 years, where he was a founding member and former President of the Holy Name Society of St. Agnes Church, a life honorary member of the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad and a former President of the Clark Senior Citizens Club. Mr. Geiger was a Pipe Fitter in the UA Local 475 Steamfitters of Warren, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Union for 70 years. Mr. Geiger was predeceased by his beloved wife Valerie (Ciuba) Geiger. He is survived by his devoted sons, George G. Geiger and his wife Geralyn and Richard G. Geiger and his wife Katie and his cherished grandson Kevin Geiger. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to St. Agnes Church, 332 Madison Hill Road, Clark, NJ 07066.
