Nancy Harden Phelps

Nancy Harden Phelps, 66, of Belhaven died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her residence in Belhaven. Born July 23, 1953 in Washington County she was the daughter of the late Dallas Harden and Irene Cruikshanks Harden. Nancy has been an industrial sale representative for 43 years with East Carolina Supply of Plymouth, a member of the United Methodist Women's Association and attended Smithton Baptist Church. Her family includes her husband, James Kirby Phelps of Belhaven, N.C.; daughter, Karen Renay Williams and husband Michael of Miami, FL.; sons, Lonnie Herman Craddock and wife Lynn of Cary, N.C. and James Kirby Phelps, Jr. and wife Sarah of Roxboro, N.C.; sister, Patty Harden Miller of Burlington, N.C.; grandchildren, Cecelia Craddock, Marissa Craddock, Edward Phelps, Adam Van Houten, Jessica Williams and Nicholas Williams. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Reverend Walter Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was such a sweet lady. I didn’t know her very long, but I feel blessed to say I knew her. She bought pecans from me. Rest In Peace, Nancy.
