Carter, Weston Francis Passed peacefully away after a long struggle with dementia, surrounded by his devoted and loving family, on November 21, 2019 at the HSC, Weston Francis Carter age 76 years. Predeceased by his parents Phyllis (nee Miller) and Frank, and parents-in-law, Ellen (nee Stapleton) and Thomas Duff. Leaving to mourn, with his stories still filling our hearts: Florence (nee Duff), devoted and loving wife of 51 years; 3 children: Adam (Anita), Angie (John), Justin (Kerry); 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Taylor, John Weston Peters, Dylan, and Jaxson; siblings John (Elaine), Linda (Howard) Coates; sister-in-law Genevieve Floyd; and extended family and many friends, including a special cousin, Jean Williams. He worked as a plumber-pipefitter, spending the last 15 years of his career with Memorial University’s Facilities Management. He was a proud member of UA local 740. Wes was happiest when he was out on the water jigging for cod in his open boat, or moose hunting with his sons and buddies. Florence would like to thank the other wives of residents at St Pat’s Mercy Home and the staff of HSC 4SB for their kindness and support. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Saturday from 10am – 9pm.
